Spring Makeup Trend: Fuschia Lips

I am loving bright lips for spring (as seen here!) and the fuschia trend a lot of celebrities are sporting these days is so pretty! It has a similar look to the bright pinks but the hint of purple in fuschia really adds a fun, playful pop to your look.

I’ve adopted this trend recently with Maybelline ColorSensational Lipsticks in Fuschia Fever and Fifth Ave. Fuschia, pictured below. They are inexpensive (buy 1 get 50% off at my local Walgreens!) and high quality with a lot of pigment.

I will only wear these bright colors when the rest of my makeup is very light…typically just my dewy skin routine and mascara, with a bit of champagne colored eyeshadow. Some of the celebrities pictured below pair their fuschia lips with sultry eye makeup. While it looks amazing on them, I prefer to only make one beauty statement at a time with either dramatic eyes OR vibrant lips.

Here I am wearing Maybelline Fuschia Fever in Vegas last weekend:

Here are some celebrities sporting the look in a variety of ways:

{Taylor Swift looking lovely and innocent with her bright berry lipstick and lush lashes}

{Kim Kardashian pairs her fuschia lips with dramatic blush and eyeshadow, creating her signature vixen look}

{Kelly Osbourne looking vibrant and youthful with hot fushcia lips and light gold shadow}

{Rihanna looks stunning with her pinkish purple lips and kohl-rimmed eyes}

{Emma Stone makes her fuschia lips the focus with just a touch of mascara and eyeliner only on her upper lids}
