Happy Wednesday beauties! I was recently asked to share my picks for beauty-related presents that are under $30 and I thought that was just a great idea! The holidays are rapidly approaching (although you wouldn’t know it by the oddly sunny weather we’ve been having) and it can be difficult to pick out great gifts without breaking the bank. Here are my picks for the best beauty gifts that are all $30 or less! You’re welcome! 😉
These handmade, all natural balms are the best I’ve ever tried. They nourish lips with beeswax, unrefined shea butter, honey, jojoba, sweet almond and grape seed oils. And with flavors like Peppermint Hot Cocoa, Lavender Honey, Orange Cream, White Chocolate, Unicorn Farts (smells like spearmint & cotton candy!), Yeti Breath (lemon coconut snow cone!) and many more, you’re sure to find the perfect scent for all your friends! My fave is the White Chocolate. I can’t stop applying it! The best thing about these balms is that, besides melting perfectly into your lips like butter and smelling absolutely delectable, they aren’t sweetened. I hate when lip balm or gloss is sweetened, ick. You can buy them on Etsy or on the Long Winter Farm site. I give a full review on Long Winter Farm balm here.
Essie Nail Polish $8.00
We all know I have a serious obsession with Essie polish. With hundreds of colors to choose from and that signature glossy finish, any one of these shades will make a fantastic gift. The sparkly festive red in the picture is called Leading Lady and it’s part of the new winter collection.
Lush Lip Scrub $9.95
Lush makes the most heavenly lip scrubs. With the dry climate I live in and the amount of lip color I wear on a daily basis, exfoliating my lips is crucial. These scrubs come in the most mouth-watering flavors: Bubblegum, Popcorn, Sweet Lips (milk chocolate) and Mint Julips. Each scrub is made with edible ingredients like sugar and castor oil, so you just lick off the scrub after using and it tastes great!
This lemon pie-scented butter is so nourishing and addicting, I can’t stop putting it on! Chock-full of avocado oil, beeswax, lemons and shea butter it will hydrate and soothe brittle nails and dry cuticles while smelling good enough to eat. Anyone would be thrilled to get this in their stocking…trust! 😉
Everyone should have a Beautyblender. No seriously. Both my June and October Beauties named this amazing makeup sponge as one of their top 5 beauty essentials they cannot live without. If that doesn’t sell you, read my rave review on it here. This is NOT your average drugstore foundation sponge. It’s a hot pink egg-shaped miracle. Treat yourself to one of these this holiday season too!
OK, so this one isn’t UNDER $30, but it’s exactly $30 and it’s just too good not to put on the list. These YSL glossy, sheer balms are absolutely delightful. They smell like mangos (but aren’t sweet!) and glide effortlessly onto the lips. They are nicely pigmented and glossy, yet very sheer. These gorgeous glosses hydrate and nourish lips with hyaluronic acid. My lips always feel really soft after wearing these. Besides the amazing formula, the packaging is just beautiful. You’ll make anyone feel special with one of these YSL Sheer Candy balms. My favorites are 09 Cool Guava (baby pink with shimmer) and 04 Succulent Pomegranate (bright sheer reddish pink). The lovely Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies wears 09 regularly in her fashion posts and the stunning Bachelorette Emily Maynard loves 04, so I had to have them both!
Happy Wednesday! XO
