Everyday Makeup Look: Golden Bronze Eye and Pink Lips

I love gold eye makeup. I think it’s flattering on everybody and can be worn day or night. Here’s a look I wear frequently during the day. It can easily be darkened for nights out by applying deeper browns and bronzes in the crease! I used some of my favorite MAC shades (All That Glitters, Honey Lust and Mythology), in addition to my new Maybelline quad in Copper Chic! You can replicate this look using any light gold, champagne, copper and bronze eye shades that you alread have!

Get the look!

Step 1: Prime lid and brow bone, as well as directly under eyes (I used MAC Painterly Paint Pot)

Step 2: Apply MAC All That Glitters all over lid and into crease (or a light gold/champagne colored eye shadow)

Step 3: Apply MAC Honey Lust on lip on top of All That Glitters (or a shimmery light gold shade that’s a bit darker than the first)

Step 4: Use the copper and bronze shades in the Maybelline quad (the two colors on the far right of the quad) in your crease, using a crease brush. Repeat until desired amount of color is in crease (Or you can use any rich, dark copper and bronze shadows you have)

Step 5: Blend the crease colors gently until everything looks smooth, no hard edges

Step 6: Add Mythology lightly in your crease (or another deep shimmery bronze copper shade)

Step 7: With a liner brush go back and form between the copper and bronze shades from the Maybelline quad and line under eyes

Finish the look by lining upper lids with black eyeliner, line your waterline with a black pencil and apply lots of mascara!

I used MAC Prep + Prime lash primer, then applied several coats of L’Oreal Voluminous mascara. On the rest of my face I’m wearing NARS Tinted Moisturizer, MAC blush in Dame, NARS bronzer in Laguna, MAC Soft & Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish and Chanel lipstick in Magnolia with a touch of L’Oreal Colour Caresse in Merino Mauve on top.
